“I aligned with IsoWhey because I really wanted to make a change in myself. I wanted to like what I saw when I looked in the mirror, I wanted to get photos with my family, I wanted to feel good about myself again and I wanted to find myself. So that was why I wanted to be aligned with IsoWhey and I wanted to join and start on that IsoWhey journey because I wanted to make a change for myself.”
Alicia Coutts - Australian Gold Medalist
“From being a full-time athlete to a full-time mum, I really had to shift my focus and my daily routine changed dramatically. IsoWhey has helped me on that journey.”
Ever since she could remember, Alicia dreamt of the Olympics – and in 2008, she realised that dream by qualifying as part of the Australian Olympic team in Beijing.
At the top of her game, Alicia won five medals at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and was crowned Australia’s #1 female swimmer – despite this, Alicia was still criticised by the media and her coach for her weight.
After sustaining a shoulder injury, Alicia was conflicted; do I retire, or work with a physiotherapist to manage the pain and get back into the pool? On her Honeymoon, she found out she was pregnant – and decided to retire from professional swimming to focus on becoming a mother.
After giving birth to her three boys, Alicia struggled with her body image due to weight gain and was diagnosed with PTSD. During this period, Alicia felt inspired to try an IsoWhey challenge to boost her confidence, and her experience led to her falling in love with herself again.
After beginning her weight loss journey with us, Alicia is now the face of IsoWhey! With 3 kids at home, Alicia is focused on regaining her confidence and not worrying about the timeline, rather focusing on healthy weight loss at a steady and achievable pace.
